Gwen Navarrete Klapperich is a self-proclaimed learning & development geek who believes that effective job training has the ability to change lives and improve people’s career and employment opportunities. She is admittedly addicted to helping adult learners reach their professional goals no matter the obstacle. Gwen holds over 15 years of experience in training & development, customer service supervision, and quality assurance initiatives, and has worked in various industries such as retail, healthcare, government, hospitality, nonprofits, and continuing education. In her role, she seeks to use her CPLP® (Certified Professional in Learning and Performance) credentials to help the learners who challenge and inspire her every day..
Ron Klapperich holds over twenty years’ experience in the safety profession. He received his B.S. in Environmental Health at the University of Washington and has provided safety consultation to various general industry and construction clients. Ron has provided risk control services in the workers’ compensation insurance market for 12 years. He is a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) and a Certified Health Safety Technician (CHST) through the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP) and has been a Professional Member of the American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSE/ASSP) since 1997.
Ginny Gutierrez is Director of Marketing and Business Development for KITA LLC. Ginny has over 40 years international experience as a consultant – business development, researcher, strategic planner, market and product developer, due diligence and competitive intelligence researcher in the publishing, information, education, and financial services industries. Some of Ginny’s clients were Ziff Communications, Scholastic, McGraw-Hill. Graduating from Boston University with a Master’s Degree in Public Relations from the School of Public Communications, Ginny’s passion for training and development was expressed in forging school-business partnerships and publishing Education Interface Guides to Support for K-12 Schools, Teachers, Superintendents and School Boards.
Christopher Klapperich is a self-advocate who advises KITA on all things that are fundamental to its brand and mission. A student at the University of Hawaii, he participates in a variety of community service projects that match his passion for cleaning the environment, reducing hunger, and helping children with special needs.
Keith Klapperich is the web master for KITA, maintaining the site and all social media profiles. He has a wealth of experience building websites for community groups, clubs, and nonprofits, as well as several years spent working with youth programs. Keith is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Anthropology.
